Any good "introduction to law" type courses?

It would be really useful for my job to have an understanding of the English legal system (US or Scottish could also be useful).

However, doing something like a law degree or law conversion course would be overkill. I don't actually want to work in law or be a lawyer.

Any suggestions?

I have heard of the Open University introduction to law module, not sure if that is what I am looking for.

Thanks a lot.

Theres a great little book called Learning the Law by Glanville Williams that outlines the legal system and basic principles. It’s always recommended pre-reading for kids applying to do law degrees, might be worth a try?
