Alevels start tomorrow - why am I nervous?!

So my ds 18 first exam tomorrow

Have tried to be v calm all day n helpful, but not too intense. Just waved him off (he boards weekly as school so far away) and am just sitting here in shock he’s 18, doing Alevels, everything...

Anyone else out there?!

I feel the same. DD has her first exam tomorrow too, psychology. She's calmer than I expected so I'm trying to be really chilled too. Although she's just been revising one particular topic and said she can't remember any of it. Good luck to your ds.

Yup Dd starts tomorrow with physics. I can’t sleep (I hope she manages to though).

I just want this first one to go well so dd can feel she can face this and tackle what's thrown at her. She can become overwhelmed if things start to go wrong.

Good Luck to all of your dc - it's a huge thing they are undertaking, and huge for parents as it really marks the 'end' of childhood proper. My ds is in Y12, so not there yet, but happy to hold your hands!
