Experiences of PGCE as a parent

I have three kids 6, 7 and turning 1 in September, when I am due to start a PGCE. I currently work in a Finance department of an insurance company (which is 2 hours commuting a day.)

After a (rare) bad night sleep with baby I am worrying about what next year will be like. My husband will stay at home with kids and I won’t have to worry about children or house, but am worried about how much time I will have to see children.

What are people’s experiences of the PGCE?

Thanks

Mine were a little older: 7 & 10 and I didn't have a baby. You are fortunate to have a DH who'll have the children.

It's a tough year for anyone. You'll lose the commute though, which is great. The demands will be very different from the corporate world, so be prepared for a massive culture shock!

My dd would have been 9-10. It was the hardest year we ever had
