Dear all,
My son has got conditional offers from both schools above for 6th form I would be grateful if you can give feedback on the quality of teaching and university preparation of either school.

These schools are pretty far apart..

Probably best to choose the nearer one to where you live.

Yes, distance, friends and ability for independent travel are important factors.

Also did your son prefer any of the tutors for his subjects?

You put him for schools in Kingston and Amersham? How on earth are you expecting him to do all that travelling in his A level years?

That said, Tiffin is by far the better school.

Dr Challoners is a very different school to Tiffin in that it is one of 13 grammars in Bucks and not super selective. Therefore they are not quite the same - but DrC is an absolutely brilliant school. They may have travelling rules re distance though. You could not do better than DrC but I would imagine places are limited.

OP, are you sure you don't mean Richard Challoner school, which is another school in Kingston? Would make more sense if you also applied to Tiffin
