Can anyone recommend good state sixth form colleges near Farnham Surrey?

Hi there,
I may be moving house next year due to my partner's job in Farnham.
My daughter is currently in her final GCSE year at school in Richmond and will need to start sixth form in September 2016 to start her A levels.
Can anyone recommend good (ideally co-ed) state sixth form colleges, or schools with good sixth forms in the Farnham, Hampshire/Surrey borders/near Guildford?
My daughter would like to include Spanish in her A level choices and although I have tried to do some online research, I am struggling a bit as I don't know the areas that well and need some good local 'insider' advice..
Any suggestions would be very gratefully received!

The 6th form colleges here have very good reputations but DD went to Godalming and had it was excellent. Spanish was available a couple of years ago. Farnborough also has a superb reputation.

Many years ago I went to Farnborough Sixth Form College and I believe it is still very well thought of, but I don't live in the area any more.

Farnborough sixth form is massive & kids come from far & wide to go there.

Yes the more I am looking into this, the more I see Farnborough College popping up with an excellent reputation..thanks!

I was going to say Farnborough Sixth Form too. It certainly had a very good reputation 8 years ago, but we've moved away now and I've lost touch.

In fact we only stayed in the area so that our youngest could attend and as soon as she had finished her A levels we moved away. It was that good.

Alton sixth form might be worth a look too.

Farnborough sixth form is probably the best in the area. Most private schools in the area don't do sixth form because they can't compete with farnborough sixth form

Godalming, farnborough and ALton are the three main state 6ths - DD went to Farnborough and DS will also go there.

Godalming is a lovely college also, really nice atmosphere. There is a bus from Farnham to Godalming, otherwise it can be a bugger to get to.

WIthin Farnham itself you also have Farnham college and All Hallows catholic - which get good results.

In Guildford you have Guildford college and Guildford County (probably more, but these are the two I know about)

Certainly farnborough is regarded as a sausage factory for RG universities, Godalming less so, but they have a great reputation.
