That's it really.
Middleaged woman who has really messed up paper this week.
Worked so hard and just went to pieces in exam.
Stupid answers.
Will take again as need this to get back into work.
Educated to MA level but no O level maths [shows my age!].
Just so angry with myself and feel like tearful child I used to be round maths.

So pleased for you! I have often wondered if I could now pass a Maths gcse after my woeful attempts at O level all those years ago. The trouble is that the syllabus has just become more difficult. Too late I fear.

Milly, do you have L2 maths or numeracy? If not it's worth investigating as is a similar level to GCSE but a smaller qualification.

I did "Quantitive Methods" as part of my HNC Business Studies many moons ago. My God it was hard! This was part A level syllabus - DH has A level Maths and a Civil Engieering degree so he knew the level. Hence I just revised half the syllabus, because that was all I could understand, and with help from DH and a fantastic tutor, scraped a D pass. Shame as I got A's for everything else. I just feel I do not have a stand alone qualification.
