I'm applying for Midwifery. Anyone good at checking Personal Statements? (very cheeky I know)

I have just written my personal statement and am a bit lost as to whether it's any good or not?

Does anyone mind having a check or is that bad form to ask?

Hi, I am a community midwife with 25 years experience so am happy to add my comments. Though i trained prior to the course being university based i have mentored many students on the Surrey University course.

I'm not a midwife, but I am a nurse. More than happy to have a read through if you like?

Oh thank you so much. I didn't think anyone would reply so I asked my mum to check it and she thought it was really good so I just bit the bullet and sent my application off.

Thank you both though for your kind offers. I still want to send it to you both but am scared you'll tell me to change bits (I can't now)!
