Hello all,
I am hoping to find some information out for my mother who is currently a foster carer.
She currently has a one and two year old placed with her and is expecting to have them until the New Year at least. She then intends to continue fostering, possibly with older children on a more long term basis.
She currently rents a housing association property and has the rent paid direct to them but for various reasons she is looking to move and rent either from a private landlord or through an estate agent.
Can anyone advise if she will still be entitled to have her rent paid? Is there a maximum amount that would be considered? Would the money be paid directly to her or to the landlord / estate agent? Is it possible to find a landlord who will rent to her?
