would I be allowed to foster when I have 2 toddlers of my own?

Have been looking into fostering for about 2 years but keep deciding against it due to various reasons. But I am starting to wonder if now is the right time.

BUT I have 2 toddlers - would that effect my application?

I have a toddler and am just starting on the process.
I've been told you have to have a 2 year gap between your childrens age and foster childrens age but I don't think having toddlers would prevent you from fostering.
