IWGB Foster Care Workers' Union - what do you think?

I have just been on Facebook and seen the IWGB FCW union talking about fostercare workers' rights, fair wages, holiday pay and sick pay etc for Foster Carers.

What do you think?? Good thing? Bad thing? I would be interested. I have not seen mention of it whilst mooching around the Fostering forum here on Mumsnet.

I think it is a brilliant thing.
Good friends of mine are FC and are absolutely amazing, they deserve far more than they get from the government for the work they do to change children’s lives for the better.

We are not FC's now but were 20yrs ago so we are well out of touch.

Gosh I wish we had a union like the IWGB back in our day. This is the "voice" that has been lacking.
