How long did it take for you to become approved?

Hi, we have our last skills to foster session this week. Really enjoying the process so far but feeling slightly impatient and would like to know how long it took everyone to become approved after finishing the course? Thank you

From the end of skills to foster until panel, 7 months.

4 months from course but process started before this, so 6 months in all.

We aim to assess and train in 3 - 4 months. As an IFA, we do not use the Form F assessment template - I know many IFA's are moving away from this document as it is so repetitive. This has sped things up slightly.

That said, what is out of our control are the time it takes for references, DBS and social service checks to come back.
