I just reported a foster parent I know for child abuse

I've been wanting to do it for a while, but didn't know it would be treated with confidentiality.
The foster carer emotionally abuses her foster children and openly admits to do the job solely for financial gain.

It still effects me everyday and I left them 33 years ago. I try to be the best mum to my kids and go without things so that they don't miss out on anything. I always hug & tell them that I love them as I never had that growing up. I can only hope that my foster parents rot in hell for the things they did.

Acquamarine70 i am so sorry to hear this. How totally horrific for you. It sounds like you are such a kind and loving mother to your own children even though it can be hard to give when you have not received much at all yourself in the way of parenting.
All i can say about your parents is, Jesus had a word for people like them - hypocrites. He berated them in public and called them whitewashed tombs. They look good on the outside but inside they're rotten. they were not representing what God is like. the Bible continually talks about God's concern for the widow and the orphan - ie the most vulnerable.
Their behaviour towards you was sick and wrong and I really hope you come to a place of being free of its impact on you.
