We were at panel on Friday and got approved for transfer. We still have 4 weeks as have to give notice to agency but we are on the move!! We also have been approved for an extra child 0-5 which is exciting. Need to make a list of all baby stuff we need as our youngest is 8! Just had to share!!!

Congrats :)
What made you move to LA?

Good for you OP. You will be busy Smile

Suzy, we had a few issues regarding some policies of the agency. No matter what we did to incorporate fc into family agency made it really hard to do so!!

Did you have to go through another full assessment ?.
We are considering changing to our L/A but don,t know if we can go through that again .
We also have issues regarding the agency which in our opinion does not put the children before money .Caz x

We did have a full assessment which started in October last year but if you can get hold of the original assessment alot of the stuff should be transferable, which would include stuff from yor birth to just before you started fostering as it wont have changed. We only had about 4 visits and panel only asked us a couple of questions!!

Thanks for info plrae ,thats given us something to consider .
We are at the moment completely demoralised by the ipa and have thought about giving it up altogether (we have no child in placement at the moment ).
