I am starting the process of becoming a foster carer. I have applied once before in England and got to the end of the initial group sessions I had been accepted to apply then I had the oppertunity for me and my son to move to Scotland with extended family which I accepted the new arrangement made it impossible for me to foster. I have since moved into my own house and rang the LA a year ago to apply only to be told as I lived in a rented property I could not apply until I had been here for two years.
I have now been here for two years and I am ready to apply. I am just wondering if anyone has any experience with the South Ayrshire fostering team. Any advice would be more than helpful!
