My friend who is a foster carer like me has a daughter with diabetes. It is not brilliantly managed. I think the average reading has to be 7 and hers is between 9-10 and docs referred the girl who is 14 to a psychologist. Now at the last meeting there is talk of dv and social services and my friend is shocked because there is nothing like that happening and she and her partner love their two kids to bits and worried as it will impact her fostering. Anyone been in this situation and help her?
