Sat here waiting for my 1st placement to arrive!

Hi, yikes waiting for our first placement to arrive- 2 boys aged 3 and 10. Got the phonecall yesterday that they were coming today- don't know how long for but no news so far---so nervous and excited :-) x

Thanks guys - well they now not coming today, they have gone to respite carers they know for the weekend and then they will be introduced to us over Mon and tues with the view of them coming to stay from Wed, we will also meet their mum at beg of next week as well. xx

Ooohh exciting times. Good luck. I am waiting for mine yes only 8 days but i jump when i hear the phone and my mobile seems to be welded into me x

Thanks p99gmb- yeah think it is a better way to do it. I know what you mean about jumping everytime the phone goes Rubyx :-) I am still doing it now although I know we are getting a plcement xx

Hope the intros go well! We're also waiting to hear about our first "short-term" placement - probably coming tomorrow. Boy aged 2. Trying not to plan too much in case it doesn't happen!

I know what you mean bottersnike- you don't want to think about it too much in case they don't end up being placed with you. Just waiting for a phone call to go and meet them- that is if things haven't changed iver the weekend xx

Situ has changed again! we now are being placed with 2 girls from the family- met them this morn and they are lovely, we taking them out tomorrow then they are coming to stay from Fri :-) xx
