Hello, hoping that you will be happy to help me with some research for my dissertation. I am looking at the issues and challenges in recruiting foster carers for both local authorities and independent agencies in the south of england.
Part of this issue is obviously a financial decision ie about fees and allowances, but I need some hard data to do comparisons with. Info from local authorities is easy to obtain, but information from independentst not so much unless you actually want to foster.
If you foster with an independent in Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex, Wiltshire, Dorset etc, would you mind posting your weekly rate and the age of the children you look after?
