Fostering experience with Surrey or Richmond Social Services?

As per the heading really-am wondering if any foster carers on here have any personal experience of either Surrey or Richmond Social Services .DH and I are considering transferring but would appreciate any advice or stories from any of you lovely ladies.A big decision as I am sure you understand and don't want to make the wrong choice!

I am thinking about applying to Richmond for fostering but they do not tell you how much you will be paid so I cannot work out if it is an option for me yet (I am single)
Other than that they seem very helpful
I don't have any experience of Surrey

I just did a quick search and from this page www.richmond.gov.uk/fostering it tells you to click on a lnk to see what your allowance would be. I am sure they wouldn't mind a quick email or phone call from you asking them to clarify this though.
