Happy Mother's Day all you foster mums

I have had a bunch of flowers and card purchased by dh but also a pot of withered up daisys picked yesterday by my foster daughter, bless it was so sweet.

She has not mentioned her birth mum today although I am sure she is thinking of her (there is no contact) . I will make some time for a 'little chat' later.

Days like this are hard on our lac.

Awww thank you sumum. I always find mothers day hard. The card that meant the most to me today was one foster son (5) had made at school. Inside he had written "I love my mum, I love you". His sister wrote me a message on a heart shaped peice of paper.
I always worry about how they are feeling on days like this.

yes espically hard for my fc as no one turned up for contact again yesturday.
