Have been looking out for your update :)

Glad that she is at least going to discuss your application with you and hopefully give you a chance to give your side of things

hoping you can enjoy your weekend and the waiting isn't getting to you

sorry i havent posted until now, but been busy trying to sort this out.Well we went to see the manager, still no further forward really. We have to send for our information to the access to records officer, we cannot go any further with the process of fostering with our authority, apparently its got nothing to do with our parenting skills, but that it would "have a rippling affect on our family" whatever that means. ConfusedWe have the right to apply to other agencys or authoritys, there rules might not be as strict as the one we applied to. The funny thing is she said that we could apply again in a couple of years time and might be passed as fosterers, if their rules changeConfusedagain. So now we have to have a sit down and plan what to do next. Thanks for all the concern, bye for nowSmile

I am sorry to hear that they are not being very open and really quite cryptic about everything.

At least it doesn't seem like it is a total no to fostering - just with them at this time.

Hoping that you get the records and are able to demonstrate to the LA that it has been a huge mis understanding

Take care
