How far do you go in changing your plans, if a child MIGHT be placed with you. say, this evening?

Depends how much you want the placement.

If I have been vacant for a long time I would change my plans but if I quite happy without the placement I would continue my plans and risk losing it to another carer.

Also depends on what your plans are, low-key drinks out maybe cancel, big family wedding no way.

This is all new to me so I'm not sure what's acceptable and I really don't want to come over as being awkward.
No placements have been placed with us as yet, but we've had three calls with possible placements , that just didn't happen in the end.( not down to my social calander!)
Thanks for replying Smile
