Married quarters at RAF Wittering

Thank you everyone for the info you gave about the surrounding area at Wittering. Can anyone tell me anything about married quarters - are they on base, off base, nice, not so nice!!!!!!

Can i just say Sacrewell farm is good for the children and not far from there at all.
No good to live at though

The officers quarter's are behind the wire except for one road and the airmen's quarters are outside the wire, close to the school. Will second Sacrewell Farm, tis a lovely spot.

I lived at Wittering for a couple of years about 6 years ago - I loved it, a fab area.

Sorry Herbietea - I'm easily . Is there not someone on here that lives there? I thought it was you , obviously not.

herbietea - thank you for the info it is very helpful. I have only heard positive things about the area and the accommodation - well - I suppose it's what you can make it and there will only be the two of us. Will have to wait and see.
