BBC at it again - Lottery funding for "Army" veterans

Obviously they forget that the RAF,Navy and RM are in Afghanistan and some of them might need help when they leave

Tut - how hard can it be to swap 'Army' for 'Forces'.

it is just slack journo stuff though - the actual fund is for all troops. shame about the one word, but the rest of the article and the actual 'Forces in Mind' thing are all good stuff.

unfortunately it's a reflection of public 'knowledge' - operational troops = army.

hopefully they'll amend it, (it would be nice if they included a brief sentence wrt to numbers of personnel from each service, but unlikely i suspect)
