Where to ask to be housed in colchester???

We have just found out we are moving from germany to colchester. Im well chuffed but with a small son and baby number 2 on the way i wanna make sure we pick a good area, but most of all i wanna ask for the area with the biggest houses, so if for any reason we dont get given a 3 bedroom, the house is still big enough to cope!

Any suggestions???

No suggestions on army accommodation but just wanted to say that you should check out teh colchester local section on here as its pretty active and people seem to meet up quite regularly if you want to get to know any other mums locally!

Peerwood, Salerno, Cassino and Beechwood all have "good" sized houses.
