...we're posted there and I could do with some info about schools and quarters. I know the area a little (having lived on the other side of the Tay before I got married), but any info would be appreciated!

Oh it's fab. If possible ask for MQs in the Nicholls Avenue area. They are better. Schools is great (don't know about Madras College, the secondary in St Andrews though). The Metoer Row MQs are a decent siz,e but are on teh flight path of every single aircraft in the place.

Ah right, officers then. yes the ones in Hunters are ok, in fact most of the officers ones are (aren't they always) When my friend lived in Hunters they had a coal fire, but that might have changed. There is also Beaufort crescent for officers.
