Oh my, me and DS are soooo poorly, i hav flu, and ds has chest infection and ear infection. poor baby.
Yesterday while we were waiting to be seen by the emergency doc his temp rocketted and he started twitching like he was gonna hav a convulsion! the doctor took him from me, and we had to strip him off and it was all a bit scary. We've had night times of him whimpering and me sniffling and feeling like poo myself.
I feel so selfish to think that i wish DH was here. what we're going through isn't half as hard as his job out there, but oh i could do with him right now!!!

I've been quite positive till now, he's only been gone a little over a week too!!!
My DS is finally sleeping now, with his antibiotics working away in his tum hopefully.

I'm sure I'll get back on track when we're both feeling better.
I feel like i only come on here to moan!!! lol. sorry guys!!! x x x x x

Just seen that this has gone unanswered.

I'm not in your position, but fwiw I don't think it's at all selfish to wish that your DH could be with you.

Hope you're both better soon.

Not selfish at all....quite natural! Do you have any family that could come and stay and give you a break for a couple of nights?

Mercy2 · 06/04/2009 21:59

Not really, we're in northern ireland. My parents are 64 & 65 and not really up to it.
I think that through today I
hav perked myself up. Riley is seeming a little better, and I'm sure that tomorrow will be a better day.

thanks tho guys, it great to know there are people who understand x x

Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better. Hopefully you will always find people on here who understand, as there quite a few of us who have forces partners.
