Why oh why do the military feel the need to tell us where we might end up going and then change their minds, and then change their minds again and THEN say "oh well you're not going anywhere until you're back from chasing pirates", which incidentally is the first we've heard of any possibility of being sent on that particular mission?
I'd rather they just said 2 weeks before we had to move "okay, you're going here, hop to it" but in the last month we've been told that the US, Bordeaux, Brest and Paris are all possibilities, as is staying put in Toulon but with a different job as is not actually having a job because they're cutting down on the number of OSCs. Don't these people understand I need to plan?!
