He says it's really sore, and he says he feels shivery! Should I he be worried?. He also has to get an ECG on Monday,as he has been getting pains in his chest and has very high blood pressure. So I'm really even more worked up now, as he is supposed to be going away next Sunday, after his dates were brought forward

When I had my typhoid I do remember feeling a bit fluey and swollen. If he starts to feel any worse, may be worth calling NHS Direct

I felt very poorly after a typhoid jab.

Arm swelled up and I threw up in fact IIRC I had to go home from work.

Doc said it was a) normal b) showed that I woudl be really ill if I actually caught typhoid (err, good... I think)

Saltire · 13/02/2009 22:34

I think secretly part of me is hoping he won't go! I hate being here, more so when I'm on my own, and I think if he's ill they might not send him. Selfish cow aren't I
I am really worried aobut ECG though

Typhoid is awful - my arm swelled to twice it's size and I felt like death warmed up. And then we had to do the assault course!

High BP and chest pain must be worrying for you - I hope his ECG is ok.

If his BP is very high he might be downgraded and not able to deploy.

Well luckily he doens't have an aasualt course to do. he's getting the ECg on Monday, and blood pressure taken Monday, Tuesday Wednesday and friday! He's complaining of feeling like he has flu now!
