hi just want to say hello, my dh has just finished phase two training for the RE we have two boys age three and nearly 1

we'll be moving in february, presuming he passes his trade assesment, to MQ at waterbeach, has anyone been posted there or there now?? i want to know everything!!!

I did, but it was a long time ago and things will have changed since then. We left in 2001 and they were in the process of selling off a lot of the MQs so not sure what is available now. Family support was good, the village is lovely, easy acess to London by train and Cambridge is great for all the shopping you could need. Hope you enjoy your stay, would be interested to hear what the accomodation is like now

oh, im in waterbeach at the momment. Its lovely. Its my second time here, and my favorite place to live. We really want to settle in this area when we leave the army. Do you have your address yet? if you have it, let me know and ill go and take some pics and email them to you???

Curly - The mqs are the same, just the ones at the end of capper rd, and the begining of cody are sold off, think there might be about 4 sold on kirby too. I was last here 2001 to 2003, just came back and am pleased to say not much has changed.
