dh is on ANOTHER exercise - stuck here in Germany and doing a dependant's job 4 mornings a week: supposed to be paid 4 weeks in arrears - so far have been waiting 7 weeks for my wages because the paymetn office in UKSCG is 'undermanned': all very well, but I have had to pay 3 lots of child care in that time so I am down over 1700 euros. Have literally no money - cannot contact dh to get him to release some money from our savings to tide me over. Have spent all day trying to get people to sort it out and keep getting fobbed off. To top it all had someone around for tea with their kids and they left the house in such a state it took me 2 hours to sort it out, as well as trying to get my 3 to bed. Asked a neighbour to come and sit for 20 mins so I could go to the naafi and get some milk, and she rang me at 7 pm and said she was out on the lash and couldn't make it. This is so bloody hard and I feel like shite.

Is there anyone who can lend you a few Euro? Or perhaps can the families officer help with contacting DH in the circs?

Scootergrrrl · 10/11/2008 20:18

Whereabouts in Germany are you? We might be able to help.

wtfhashappened · 10/11/2008 20:22

OP posts:
Scootergrrrl · 10/11/2008 20:24

Mostly at Go Bananas.....

Are you working tomorrow? Are you still at LH?

This is what happens when you change your name - I can't find you!

wtfhashappened · 10/11/2008 20:26

yes sorry - but I have put the odd shout out for you. I am supposed to be in LH tomorrow and I suppose I will go, but I am seriously tempted to tell them I won't be in again until they f=ing pay me.

Scootergrrrl · 10/11/2008 20:28

Don't get completely stuck - shout if you need some euros to tide you over. Or go on strike....

wtfhashappened · 10/11/2008 20:30

I really want to - Dh thinks I am mad - would you?

OP posts:
Scootergrrrl · 10/11/2008 20:32

Knowing what I do about that place, I think they could do with a kick up the arse...
Have you contacted the garrison works support officer, or whatever they're called/ It's a woman called Petra Graham - her details are in the Buzz. She should be able to help, surely. Or come and see us at GB tomorrow after you walk out

Have to go and watch the Indian cookery thing on BBC2 - back in half an hour.

wtfhashappened · 10/11/2008 20:35

Yup, I've got to go and make the packed lunches - are you on Gum patch the K street no 8? Big Tits thought you were. If so, I will come and see you tomorrow at some point. Petra doesn't work for UKSCG, so she can't help - its been up to div dcos level and even he won't shift his arse to help.

Sorry - turned the computer off last night by msistake and couldn't be bothered to power it all up again.

The big-bosomed one (although not so big now!) is correct. Thursday afternoons are good, and Fridays sometimes. Come and see the chaos!

Huge hugs - no practical help at all but much moral and emotional support.

twoplusone · 11/11/2008 22:04

I have been once.. a few weeks ago, I came in very near the end, with my little boy. (his name is Lee) we sat for the last two songs then he had a bit of play time. I think to start with we sat next to you then we moved just opposite you when you started singing the goodbye song.. I think I have seen you around aswell, I think if you are who I am thinking off
. I will hopefully begoing on friday , trying to get little one to miss out his morning naps so i can go to groups and things with him. if i go will introduce myself to you.

wtfhashappened · 15/11/2008 16:41

still no money. They promised me it would be in on Thursday. I am now making myself ill with worry about this.

FourArms · 15/11/2008 16:44

Is your DH in the RAF wtf? My Dad is an RAF Welfare Officer (in UK) so I could ask him to help sort this out if that's any good?

wtfhashappened · 15/11/2008 16:47

that's really kind, but no, he's army.

OP posts:
hf128219 · 15/11/2008 17:04

You poor thing. Go and see the Families' Office.

Scootergrrrl · 15/11/2008 17:51

Where is your husband on excercise? Surely someone can get him a message about the situation. I know it doesn't solve the actual problem of UKSCG being a bunch of fuckwits but at least you can get some money. You know where we are if you need anything.
