Any RAF wittering mums out there?

Hi i am new to mums net!!! My DH is in the RAF and has been posted to Wittering in a months time and i was wondering if there was anyone out there who is already posted there for a bit of inside info!!! My DS is starting school in september and is a bit anxious coz he doesnt know anyone as didnt go to pre-school there!!! Also have a 2 year old son so any info on toddler groups would be appreciated!!!

DH was at Wittering until last year but as we lived in our own home I'm not that much use on base stuff. However, we did move to Cyprus just as DD had to start school not knowing anything and she has coped really well with it

Hi Gem I have a friend moving to Wittering over the summer and her DS is starting school in September so you won't be the only new one

Wittering is fab! It was our first home after DH and I were married. I had DD in Peterborough District Hospital.You'll love it there, it's such a nice area. At the top of the back road to the A14 is a little farm. I'm sure your DCs will love it there., you can buy a season ticket I think

Do you know where abouts your friend is moving to as it would be nice for our DS to meet before they start school so at least they have one familiar face on the first day!!!
