Anybodys hubby a pilot in the AAC??

Just wondered if anyone on here's hubby is a pilot in the AAC, and if so how much time to they normally spend away?

Hi - just seen your message. DH is in AAC, but I think the amount of time and frequency that they're away depends on what aircraft they fly.
I think DH's reg is on a 3 yr cycle (but i can't check my facts as he's away for a couple of weeks.)

My DH is putting in to tranfer and train as a pilot so wanted abit of a low down on what to expect if he gets in.

Also wondered if the training course is one we will all move for or if he will just go by himself as its a long time if not as we are in germany at the mo!
