i dont know for certain but i would imagine that they would have to.

then again the families office is supposed to keep things confidential but we all know that does not happen.

McDreamylove · 13/02/2008 09:23

Yes they definitely do. Have you had a problem Saltire?

saltire · 13/02/2008 09:27

Well I called my local HIVE on Monday to ask advice about my neighbour whose children go to bed much much later than mine and charge up and down the stairs banging and thumping till gone 11 most nights. I spoke to HIVE woman on Monday morning and on Monday night and last night there was no noise at all. Which after 8 months of having it every single night is unusual. So I am concerned that the HIVE woman has spoken to my neighbour. it just seemed such a coincidence

did you not want her to try and solve the problem though?

saltire · 13/02/2008 10:23

Yes, but she told me that the best course of action was to speak to the neighbours directly and if they didn't keep it down to go down the DHE route. She never once said, nor did I ask, that she intervene and say something. I don't know if she has, it just seems really odd.

it is a bit odd, then again it is half term (it is here anyway) so perhaps the children are away or they might be ill.

have to say though i dont trust any any of the people who are employed to "help" us out.

Scootergrrrl · 13/02/2008 10:28

ALL HIVE staff are bound to a code of confidentiality. It does seem odd that it's stopped straight away though. Perhaps you should ask the person concerned if they did say something to your neighbour.
However, long may the peace continue for you!
