DH needs to get in touch urgently with PMA who have moved to Innsworth. he is on a tri-service base with an Army RMP in Gen office. This corporal has told DH " I don't know the number, it's not my job to get RAF numbers" DH pointed out to him that he in gen Office for the entire base,( the equivalent of a Chief Clerk, don't know if they have the same in the Army) and the guy just shrugged his shoulders and said "Yes but I'm army"

So, if any of you could get the new phone number for PMA for me that would be great either Civilian or Military.
TIA

Just asked DH (army)who advised him calling the directory enquiries in Whitehall but he didn't know what PMA stands for.

PMA is Personnel Managemnt something - agency maybe. It's- I think - only an RAF thing, don't know what Army or Navy equivalent would be

PMA Sounds like the equivalent of the APC in Glasgow. BTW, the clerk on the tri-service base is out of order - it is his job to get such numbers!

I would try Whitehall and get put throught that way. Sorry I can't be of more help - we're Army, not RAF.

RAF Innsworth switchboard is (01452) 712612 - they should surely be able to transfer him.

01452 712612 6247 is what is says when you google it.

I always ring the RAF Innsworth number for any military number that I need. If you hold, they transfer you to the MOD operator.

If I don't get any joy with them, asking for the guardroom at the appropriate place is usually a good start as they have a directory for that camp, and have more local knowledge.

Ringing the central number for any camp would work, but my dad used to be at Innsworth, hence that number is always in my head.
