Anyone else used the facilities at the Crownhill Family Centre? Are they any good? Any good mother/baby groups in the Crownhill area?

I've not been, but I think one of my neighbours goes to the M&T group in the centre, so it must be OK. Can ask her if you like? Are you new to the area?

Yea we moved in about 4 weeks ago and although I'm not new to Plymouth I am new to this patch so it would be nice to meet up with some people locally. Would the Crownhill Family Centre be the place or are there other M&T groups here?

yeah towards the end of the patch. They normally send leaflets through the door letting you know whats going on etc at the centre. I think the party is on sunday 4th nov 4-7pm. Last year it was fancy dress and childrens disco and bbq. I dont normally go up there alot but this party is especially for people who's oh's are deployed but is still open to everyone. My oh goes back down the gulf next wk so il prob be up there more especially with this cold weather. They do things like meet a mum, jo jingles and yoga and dance for toddlers etc.

Ooh - think I'll be at that rosebud. I've never been before, but my friends DH is away at sea, and my DH is going on a jolly to London for the w/e, so we thought we'd try it. There's a hog roast too apparently?

Do you know if you have to get tickets in advance?
