Anyone ever been posted to Northwood?

What's it like? I'm particularly interested in school information and any tips on where to apply for a house. I do so love the idea that you can choose where you are going to live for two years from seeing a few small pictures on the internet. Got to love the army life!

Have you looked on FB. Pages married quarters-r-us or Armed Forces Quarters.

There will probably be a Northwood page as well

We are at Northwood. There are 2 patches, one at Northwood immediately near the base and a larger one at Bushey. We opted for Northwood because of ease of getting to work. We live it here. Houses are a good size. Two nearest primary schools to patch are Frithwood Primary and Eastbury Farm, our son went to Frithwood and it has been an absolutely amazing school, sadly he has just finished year 6.
