Due to hand over our SSFA (a private rental) to HCR soon.

Anyone experienced it? Worse or better than march out?

Thanks!

who is HCR?

we did in feb. To be honest it was easy. We cleaned but probably not to march out standard (didn't do inside tracks of windows etc) but then again it was dirty when we moved in. we left it cleaner than we took it over but we didn't go mad IYKWIM. HCR rep and letting agent attended, letting agent looked around , if they were happy they just told HCR rep, paperwork signed and off we went on our 4.5 hr journey to our new quarter.

Thanks guys.

How long did it take? Did they focus on anything in particular?

It didn't take long with us at all, probably 10 mins at most. If the place was clean with no damage etc then its easy and straight forward

We did it with a proxy. As we had dogs, it had to be professionally cleaned and fumigated. HCR were good. The Landlord was a PITA trying to charge us for a broken window on a dangerously delapidated shed in the garden. HCR told him to get back in his box. Smile.

Thanks! The guy from HCR said to put aside 2 hours when he comes round next week!

Actually I am beginning to wonder what HCR have to do with it as we paid the deposit ourselves directly to the Letting Agency. Hmm
