nice commutable to 'Army Land' village near longleat?

Hello - we're considering moving to Wiltshire in a couple of years time and we've realised we can get a much bigger house than where we currently live.
The area we like/would need to be for commuting, would be in the Westbury/Melksham/Warminster area.
I would love to live near Longleat so that I could possibly work at Center Parcs (my ideal work place!) and was wondering what nice villages are drivable to there and not too far from Warminster for DH to commute easily within 'Army Land'.
Don't mind village, near village, edge of market town/in small market town.
Obviously we want nice schools (primary and secondary by then) for kids.

Devizes is a nice town with MQ's great schooling and about mins from longleat?

Thanks Gennacy. We were thinking about buying our own house though.
However, DH knows that some people, if they posted to an area that's then commutable within 50miles, are allowed to stay in that quarter? That would be good if we got posted to that area in the first instance I guess.
