Hey

my husband is going camping with a bunch of his friends at the weekend and I’m in a baking mood.

what is your favourite tray bakes that would be camping friendly? (Ie) nothing with fresh cream or anything.

i haven’t ever made a tray bake so looking for lots of inspo.

I don't think you'll need to worry about it, but if the weather suddenly warms up, I'd avoid anything with a chocolate topping like millionaires shortbread as the chocolate will melt and get sticky.

Our classic camping bakes are ginger loaf cake, brownies, flapjack and some fruit drizzle....did gin and lemon last time!
The second ginger cake on this link is the goto...quick easy to double up

I’d do a loaf shape cake. It’s easier to transport in the tin. Nigella quadruple chocolate loaf cake is good.
