salmon and cream cheese parcel - how does this sound?

Am having friends for dinner and have a load of smoked salmon in fridge. Am thinking of making smoked salmon 'parcels', mixing cream cheese with chives and black pepper - nmaybe a bit of dill, and then placing the cream cheese mixture inside a parcel/wrap of smoked salmon, served on bed of rocket salad and balsamic vinegar. Does that sound ok?

sounds lovely - as long as you have the balsamic dressing without olive oil it will be lovely, as you need something to cut the richness of the salmon and cream cheese.

sounds delicious, though I would probably loosen the cream cheese with a bit of creme fraiche if you have it to hand, and I would DEFINITELY replace the balsamic with lemon juice - much nicer (to my palate anyway) with the salmon. Also fwiw I would choose either chives or dill (and would go with chives as they help to cut through the richness of the fish and the cheese).

it also sounds quite fiddly though, I would almost certainly get lots of cream cheese on the outside of the parcels!
