Following the stupido kids cookbook thread can I suggest my fav kids cook book from way back last century.
Fun Food Factory by Nanette Newman

Taught me how to cook and about nutrition vits and minerals.

zanz can't believe someone else remembers this - I used to LOVE it, borrowed it from the library about 100 times before my mum finally bought it for me. Loved the pics. Wonder if I can get hold of it for DD, I must see if my mum still has it!

My other fav was My Learn To Cook Book

I had Ladybird Learnabout Cooking and still use its shortbread recipe!

I'm also struggling to remember the title or author of another one. It was about a group of friends who played games and did cooking - almost a story but with recipes in it. Very 70s, 2.4 children, playing cowboys and Indians. Anyone else know what it might be, or just me?!

Blue I had the Ladybird book too! I have no idea where it is now...

OTOH the other one you describe is, I think, the one I still have on my kitchen bookshelf. It's by Margaritte Patten, it's called the Play and Cook Book, and it's fab.
