I presume I should do something like marinade them? Any top tips?

I brush mine with a mix of olive oil, garlic and parsley then BBQ them brushing them a couple of time during cooking (whenever I turn them over)

Mmmm, that sounds nice. We are having a breakfast bbq though, not sure about garlic at breakfast time!! I hadn't thought about brushing them during cooking though, will do that.

Slice of tomato on top of the mushie and then a slice of goats cheese/mature cheddar to melt into it. Barbie heaven!

I put mine in lightly oiled tin-foil parcels before brushing with oil, seasoning, stuffings etc. Then they bake in their own juice rather than going black and withered.

I'm glad I checked this thread this morning! I did it your way Chil1234 and they were lovely. Will definitely do them like that again, but if it's not a breakfast bbq I can go really garlicky or whatever with the stuffings.

Thanks everyone
