Help me make meals for 3 kids and then later 2 adults. I usually cook twice a night and often different things so it doesn't have to be a kids meal reheated for us later.

Fridge

Parma ham.
Bacon.
Butter.
Cheese.

Freezer

Chicken breast steaks.
2 salmon fishcakes.
Lots of veg.

Cupboard

Eggs
linguine
penne
stuffing
arborio rice
dried
portobello mushrooms
wholegrain rice
chopped tomatoes
sweetcorn
mushy peas
lentils
baked beans
tinned spaghetti

I will be back later as I bought DD some satsumas and there is a life worm of some sort inside one.

chicken breast stuffed with cheese or stuffing and wrapped in bacon.

Pasta sauce made from either chopped tomatoes and sweetcorn or a cheese pasta sauce.

If you have lots of veg you could make soup.

mushroom risotto?

Pootles2010 · 15/06/2010 16:55

Spaghetti carbonara with the eggs, bacon and cheese (alright it'll be linguine carbonara, but just as good!)

The fishcakes with mushy peas.

Pasta bake with the penne, veg, tinned tomatoes, and cheese on top.

Yuk at the worm! We had an incident with a cod worm the other day - not nice.

sweetcorn fritters - thats assuming you have flour in your cupboard.

bacon and lentils go well together

They all sound lovely, thank you .

I have flour and all the basics.

It was a maggot in the satsuma so he is off to the lab. Yum.
