I wish I'd never tried them. I tried to be strong but no, the special offer made me think "they will be lovely, make a nice change from chocolately puddings".

Now here I am, almost to the bottom of the bag and still wanting more.

mmmmmmm, melty....

Meglet · 13/06/2010 21:34

they're not new - they were around when I was little.

Although having said that the taste of galaxy has changed since then.

ireallyreallyhatefootball · 13/06/2010 21:39

OMG OMG I loved those and they're back. Where can I get some!! They were my fave sweets/ chocs when I was little and then they just disappeared.

Much better than Cadbury's buttons.

Rockbird · 13/06/2010 21:40

They are just the right size to pop into your gob when driving, hence why I get through so many of the little buggers

Meglet · 13/06/2010 21:42

IRRHF they are in all the supermarkets. There is no escape.

They are just Minstrels without the shell. Was tres disappointed.

ooh I must get some tomorrow. You have brightened my day OP although probably added a few inches to my waist in the coming weeks.

TheJollyPirate · 13/06/2010 21:49

Fantastic things - have had three bags so far . Loved them when I was a child too - high time they returned.

Rockbird · 13/06/2010 22:01

Yes but the shell on a Minstrel is the evil bit that you have to tolerate to get to the good bit. And, despite the lack of 'melt in your mouth not in your hand' shell, my bag of counters sat in the hot car all last week and were still perfectly shaped when I ate them yesterday. Therefore the shell thing is marketing bollocks.

You've all just ruine dmy lifelong theory that only men liked Galaxy and only women like Cadburys dairy milk. Galaxy tastes like candle wax to me (used to chew it as a kid. We did get food too.)
