What do you feed your pre-school DC's in an average week.....

I've started to get a bit worried about my DS and the food he eats in particular (he's 4 in a month or so)....

My DD is 18 months - she is doing pretty well but.....

DS has started to refuse to eat quite a lot of veggies and we're now reduced to peas, carrots (if we're lucky) and corn on the cob. DD point blank refuses all veggies - she likes to feed herself now but will pick all the veggies out and chuck on floor.

In an average week they might eat:-

Usual range of brekkie stuff - cereal toast etc

Lunch - goes from
salmon with egg fried rice and a few peas for good measure
Bolognese with rice or pasta
Home made chick casserole (maybe apple type or tomato type)
Meatballs (with hidden veggie type sauce)
fish pie
Fishcakes
sausages

They'll both eat pizza/fish finger type things but I try to get as much homemade stuff in them as poss. I try to hide some veggies in casseroles and also in mash. They also go to nursery two days a week but I never really can guage how much they eat there (what does "they ate most" mean ?? I bet DS ate the rice and nothing else !!)

Both will eat soft fruits and DS will sometimes eat apple (he does at nursery).

What do your pre-schoolers eat - shall I stop worrying ??? DS starts school in September and I just see it all going downhill from now on in !
