Can anyone tell me how to cook gyoza?

Got some from the Asain store near me as DSs like it when were were last in a Japanese resturant.

However i'm slightly challanged by the cooking instructions on the back it being in kanji

Anyone got any top tips?

This is a staple food in our house and we now have the perfect method:

  1. Put them straight from the freezer into a steamer. Steam for 3 mins.
  2. While they're steaming, heat up a frypan with oil in it.
  3. Carefully remove from steamer and put straight into the hot pan. Cook all over until golden brown on all sides.

Nom nom nom.

If you use a bamboo steamer you'll need little squares of kitchen paper under them or they'll stick. This is a bit of a faff so we use a stainless steel steamer and remove them with a flexible plastic spatula.
