Slow cooker with casserole that can go on the hob

Is there one? I want to fry off my meat, chuck everything else in and put it to slow cook all in one thing - it seems to defeat the object to have to fry stuff off in one pan then decant to the slow cooker.

I'm sure there's one in the Argos book. Lots more expensive if I remember correctly.

I think they're called Saute Crock Pots - Argos has them - and yes, they're considerably more expensive: £50-60 at least, depending on the size you want. I want one too... maybe for Christmas.
