Anyone have a fondue recipe suitable for use in choc fountain?

Silly me thought you just chucked some chocolate in the fountain and it would melt and flow. But have been told will need to add oil and possibly cream to it and melt it before putting it in the fountain...

Anyone used a fountain before who can enlighten me as to what I should be adding to my chocolate please, and any ideas of quantities!?

Hi Gillybean
All I do is to melt the chocolate and then add a little vegetable or sunflower oil just to make it a little more runny in consistency. Hope that helps and enjoy!!

Ohhhhhhhhh. I thought you were planning a kind of cheese fountain and wondered how on earth you'd clean up afterwards...

You could have a gravy fountain and dip yorkshires into it. And pigs in blankets and little roasties.

As you were...

(and sorry!)

I delegated to someone else who had done a chocolate fountain before. So I'm still clueless, but at least the fountain was a success!
