I'd like to make lamb kebabs, but not sure what cut of meat to get as don't want them to be as tough as old boots. Can anyone advise please? TIA.

i'd prob go for shoulder and marinade them for as long as poss
failing that make little patties out of lamb mince

Leg steaks are great for kebabs/bbq's. They cook quickly and are usually so tender.

I wouldnt use shoulder, some parts are not tender enough. Deffo leg. Also the mince is fab for spicy kebabs on sticks served with yogurt.

Rule of thumb, the front of the animal ie shoulders use a lot of power hence tough the back legs are better - less work - tender.
