what to do with 3kg of soft tomatoes/ chuckney recipe please

Went to the market and got them really cheap, thought I would make soup but have been collecting jars and quite fancy making chuckney. Any recipes never made it before but enjoy cooking

How about a big patch of tomato sauce to have with pasta?? Fryup onions and garlic and fresh thyme. Add the tomatoes,a good pinch of sugar and sweat down over a low heat for about 40 mins.
(You could add some tomato puree as well if you want a richer flavour.)
Freezes well too.

Thanks. I think that's what I'll do. Just sent Dh to supermarket with strict instructions not to buy frozen pizza as will make own all next week with tom sauce, kids will love it and i will feel happy about giving them something more healthy
